Transformasi Limbah Minyak Jelantah Menjadi Produk Ekonomis Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Lilin Aromaterapi di Desa Pagelak Kecamatan Madukara

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Pagelak Village, Madukara District, Banjarnegara Regency focused on utilizing used cooking oil into aromatherapy candles. The program aimed to raise public awareness of the dangers of reusing and improper disposal of used cooking oil, while providing practical skills to process it into eco-friendly products. The method applied was Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) through five stages: discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. The training, held on July 28, 2025, involved local women’s associations (PKK) and village youth, covering education, hands-on candle-making practice, and product quality testing. The results indicated improved knowledge and skills among participants, along with the emergence of creative business opportunities based on waste management. The program achieved full participation and is expected to encourage the development of sustainable MSMEs while supporting SDGs on economic growth and environmental preservation.
