Abstract

Social problems evolves from time to time as a logical consequence arising from the dynamics of social change in society. This particular situation demands that frameworks to understand social problems and relevant solutions regarding them must evolves too. One of such ways is through accommodating frameworks that sensitive to psycho-spiritual condition of individuals affected by social problems. The aim of this paper, thus, is twofolds. This paper will evaluate the current mode of assessing individuals inspired by several main ideas in psychology and it will also propose strategy for assessing individuals by utilizing assessment methods inspired by ideas emerged from transpersonal psychology.
