Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in students' learning outcomes on the content of Surah Al-Ma'un through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model for fifth-grade students at SDN 009 Sungai Kunjang during the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This research adopts a classroom action research (CAR) approach with a qualitative methodology. The research process includes four stages: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subjects of this study were 24 fifth-grade students from SDN 009 Sungai Kunjang. Data collection techniques involved written multiple-choice tests comprising 10 items administered in Cycle I and Cycle II, with a minimum passing criterion (KKTP) of 75. Data analysis employed mean and percentage formulas. The quantitative analysis revealed that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model significantly improved students' learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the average score was 69.58 or 70%, categorized as high. In Cycle II, the average increased to 82.92 or 83%, classified as very high. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model effectively enhances the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on the content of Surah Al-Ma'un at SDN 009 Sungai Kunjang during the 2022/2023 academic year.
