Penerapan Metode Game Based Learning berbantu Wordwall untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Kelas IV SDN 4 Parakannyasag Kota Tasikmalaya
Abstract
This study aims to test the effectiveness of implementing the Game Based Learning (GBL) method with Wordwall in improving student learning outcomes in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education, specifically on the material of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Migration (Hijrah) to Medina. The research was conducted on fourth-grade students at SDN 4 Parakannyasag, Tasikmalaya City, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of two cycles. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. Before the implementation of the method, only 29% of students scored above the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). After the first cycle, this number increased to 60.71%, and in the second cycle reached 89.29%. The class average score also increased from 66 in the pre-cycle, to 80 in the first cycle, and 86.42 in the second cycle.The application of the GBL method with Wordwall has been proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, motivating students to learn, and creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment.
