Penerapan Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Keliling dan Luas Lingkaran Siswa Kelas VI MIS Nurul Huda Kelayan Banjarmasin
Abstract
This research is a classroom action research consisting of 4 stages: the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The results obtained from the research implementation show an improvement in student learning outcomes for scores above or meeting the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM), as seen from the students' learning outcomes in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of students achieving the learning outcomes was 26.3% with an average score of 37.9. Meanwhile, in cycle I, the learning outcomes percentage was 70.8% with an average score of 79.2, and in cycle II, the learning outcomes percentage was 92.3% with an average score of 84.6. There was an increase in the percentage of scores above the KKM, specifically from the pre-cycle stage to cycle I by 44.5%, and from cycle I to cycle II by 21.5%. The percentage of students actively participating in the learning process using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model overall was 75%. The percentage of students who gave positive (good) responses to the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model was 82.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, based on the research results, can improve mathematics learning outcomes on the material of circumference and area of a circle.
