Penerapan Metode Talaqqi untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Al-Qur'an siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya
Abstract
This study aims to improve the Qur'an reading skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya for the 2024-2025 academic year through the implementation of the talaqqi method. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study measures three main aspects of Qur'an reading skills: pronunciation of letters (makharijul huruf), accuracy of tajweed, and reading fluency. The results of the study show a significant improvement in each aspect after the implementation of the talaqqi method. In the second cycle, 85% of students achieved accurate pronunciation of makharijul huruf, 80% of students read with correct tajwid rules, and 85% of students read fluently. In addition, student motivation increased from 30% in the initial test to 90% in the second cycle. This study confirms that the talaqqi method, which involves direct interaction between teacher and student, is effective in improving Quran reading skills as well as students' learning motivation. Therefore, the talaqqi method is recommended for widespread application in Islamic Religious Education learning.
