Kecemasan Karir: Konsep Diri dan Dukungan Sosial pada Mahasiswa
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan karir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas psikologi angkatan 2019 Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. Jumlah sampel yang peneliti teliti adalah 166 responden, teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa skala kecemasan karir, skala konsep diri, dan skala dukungan sosial. Pendekatan regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan temuan sebagai berikut: 1) Adanya hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan karir (R = 0,597; p = 0,000). 2) Terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kecemasan karir (r = -0,568; p = 0,000). 3) Tidak terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan karir (r = 0,140; p = 0,072). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri dan dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama memiliki korelasi dengan kecemasan karir, namun jika dianalisis secara terpisah konsep diri memiliki korelasi dengan kecemasan karir sedangkan dukungan sosial tidak menunjukkan korelasi tersebut.
