Allegation of Research Misconduct

The Borneo Journal of Primary Education (BJPE) takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously. Research misconduct may include, but is not limited to, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, improper authorship, undeclared conflicts of interest, unethical research involving human participants, and manipulation of the peer-review process.

Allegations should be submitted in writing to the Editor-in-Chief at , with relevant evidence where available. BJPE will assess each allegation fairly and confidentially. The journal may request further information from the complainant, the authors, or other relevant parties. All parties will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond.

While an allegation is being investigated, BJPE may suspend the review or publication of a manuscript. For concerns involving a published article, the journal may issue a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, depending on the findings. If further investigation is required, BJPE may refer the matter to the authors’ institution or another relevant body. The journal will make decisions based on the available evidence and applicable publication ethics guidance.
