Authorship Criteria
Borneo Journal Primary Education To qualify as an author, an individual must meet all of the following criteria:
- Make a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the study; or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the data.
- Draft the manuscript or revise it critically for important intellectual content.
- Approve the final version of the manuscript for publication.
- Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work and to help ensure that any questions about its accuracy or integrity are appropriately investigated and resolved.
All individuals who meet these criteria should be listed as authors. Anyone who does not meet all four criteria should not be listed as an author, but may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section with their permission.
The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal, ensuring that all authors have reviewed and approved the submitted manuscript, and providing accurate information about each author’s contributions. The order of authors should be agreed upon by all authors before submission.
Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must be explained to the editor and approved by all authors, including any author being added or removed. BJPE may request written confirmation of this agreement.
Individuals, organizations, or AI tools that do not meet the authorship criteria must not be listed as authors. The use of generative AI tools in preparing a manuscript must be disclosed in accordance with PJPE’s applicable editorial policies.
