Author Guidelines

General Instructions

  1. The article must be an original work and has never been published before.

  2. Articles should be based on qualitative or quantitative research methods.

  3. Articles must be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic, adhering to the rules of grammar and scientific writing style.

  4. Articles must be submitted through the Jurnal Studi Ilmu Quran dan Hadis website after completing registration and logging into the system (https://journal.uinsi.ac.id/index.php/SIQAH/login).

Technical Instructions

  1. The article framework must include: Title, Author Name(s), Email, Abstract (in English or Arabic), Keywords, Content, and Bibliography.

  2. The abstract should be concise, dense, and clear, consisting of 150–250 words.

  3. Keywords can be words or phrases, a total of 3–5 words/phrases. They should be arranged alphabetically and should not use capital letters except for abbreviations.

  4. The Content consists of Introduction, Methods, Findings/Data, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  5. Articles should reference journals, preferably those published within the last 5 years, and books published within the last 10 years. Theses and Dissertations are also permitted. The minimum total references must be 30 sources.

  6. The article length should be approximately 15–25 pages, using A4 paper with 1.15 spacing, Book Antiqua font size 12, and 3-3-3-3 margins (top, bottom, left, right), or a maximum length of 5000 words.

  7. References must be managed using the Mendeley reference management application, employing the Chicago Manual of Style 18th edition style (https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed18/frontmatter/toc.html).

Submitting the Article

  1. Articles must be submitted via the Online Journal System (OJS) of Jurnal Studi Ilmu Qur'an dan Hadis: https://journal.uinsi.ac.id/index.php/SIQAH/login?source=%2Findex.php%2FSIQAH%2Fsubmissions.

  2. Each author is required to include a brief biography and their previously published studies/research, institution, institutional address, contact phone number, and email.

  3. The author must guarantee the originality of the article, ensuring it is free from plagiarism and copyright infringement. The author will be held responsible if such issues are found.

  4. Submitted articles will proceed to the review process by reviewers mediated by the editor based on their expertise.

  5. Authors will be notified of publication acceptance through the OJS. Articles that are not accepted for publication will not be returned.

  6. The article must be written in accordance with the existing guidelines/rules.

  7. To facilitate the editing process, articles must be submitted using the provided template. The template can be downloaded from the journal's homepage on the right-hand sidebar.
