Abstract
In the development of Islamic education from the time of the Prophet until now, Islamic education has gone through several phases and stages including: Islamic education using places such as: Mosque and Kuttab. The mosque is a place used by the prophet and his companions to carry out prayers as an obligation for a Muslim. Apart from that, the mosque is also used as place to discuss and convey the most important Islamic da’wah, namely the issue of monotheism. In the mosque the propet usually preaches the most fundamental problem to his companions, namely the prolem of monotheism. After the problem of monotheism was firmly in the heart and souls of the companions. Apart from the mosque which serves as a place for the development of knowledge in Islam has development of Islam has develoved very rapidly so that it is no longer possible to only taech it in the mosque and indeed requires a place to broadcast the Islamic religion.
