The journal specializes in the study of Islamic law, both doctrinal and empirical research, with various academic approaches: normative-doctrinal, social, political, economic, historical, etc. The subject is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the relevant topics.
Mazahib Jurnal Pemikiran Hukum Islam has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of The Republic of Indonesia (Decree Number: 225/E/KPT/2022) of the Republic of Indonesia as a national reputable academic journal in rank 1.
