Pengaruh Jam Kerja dan Psikological Well Being terhadap Work Life Balance Mahasiswa yang Bekerja

This research stems from the fact that students are employed throughout their education. Students face pressures from two roles, which can affect how they balance their academic responsibilities with their world of work. This study aims to find out how working hours and psychological well-being have an impact on work-life balance in students working in Pasuruan Regency. This condition is related to work-life balance is influenced by many factors, one of which is working hours. The quantitative method is used for all students who work in Pasuruan Regency. Purposive sampling of 294 people who answered was carried out using the Slovin formula. The data was tested for validity and reliability through a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS Version 26 program. The results showed that psychological well-being had a positive and significant effect on work life balance, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.809 and a significance of 0.000. According to the determination coefficient (R2), independent variables can be responsible for a 65.5% variation in the work-life balance. With F = 276.062 and Sig. 0.000, working hours have a partially significant effect on work life balance with a value of Sig. 0.462 > 0.05. The result is Y = 23.277 - 0.432X1 + 0.725X2. Conclusion This study found that psychological well-being is the main factor that determines the work-life balance of working students; working hours only partially affect the sig. Mental health theory is essential for the success of students in dual roles.
