Plagiarism Screening

Sultan Idris Journal of Psychology and Education is committed to upholding academic integrity and the originality of submitted work. Therefore, every manuscript submitted will undergo plagiarism screening with the following provisions:

1. Detection Tools
Plagiarism checks will be conducted using reliable software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools.

2. Maximum Similarity Threshold
Submitted manuscripts must have a total similarity index of no more than 20%, and no more than 3% per individual source.

3.Permitted Quotations
Properly cited direct quotations (e.g., in accordance with APA Style) are allowed and will not be considered plagiarism.

4. Action on Exceeding Limits

- If the similarity level exceeds the acceptable threshold, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.

- In cases of severe plagiarism (e.g., copied material without citation), the manuscript will be rejected outright without review.

5. Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their work and may be required to submit a declaration of originality upon request by the editorial board.
