Desain Kurikulum PAI Integratif Berbasis Masalah
Solusi Degradasi Moral dan Krisis Fokus Siswa
Abstract
Moral degradation and severe juvenile delinquency among basic education students are critical issues in the digital era, largely due to gadget dominance leading to a focus crisis and loss of learning interest. Traditional Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum, relying heavily on cognitive aspects and rote memorization, has proven ineffective in internalizing values and ethics into students' daily lives. Thus, an effective, practical, and realistic IRE curriculum innovation is urgently required. This study aims to formulate an effective IRE curriculum development design to address these challenges. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach, the data was critically analyzed to establish a theoretical and practical framework. Findings advocate shifting from a Subject Centered Design (monotonous lectures) to a holistic-integrative Problem Centered Design (PCD). PCD is effective in boosting critical thinking and social skills by linking IRE material to students' real-life problems. Learning strategies must be highly interactive, utilizing digital technology, and supported by emotional intelligence approaches such as Talent Mapping and Habituation (Pembiasaan). This adaptive, problem-based IRE curriculum, supported by professional teachers, is crucial for cultivating excellent generations with noble character and resilience against digital disruption challenges.
