Penerapan Model Think Pair Share untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Presentasi Asmaul Husna
Abstract
Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is often theoretical, leading to a lack of deep understanding and practical application among students. At SMP Dharma Utama, students' presentation skills in delivering the Asmaul Husna material also need improvement. To address this issue, this study applies the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model to enhance students' presentation skills. The purpose of this research is to improve students' participation, understanding, and presentation skills in delivering Asmaul Husna material. This study employs a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) method involving the seventh-grade homeroom teacher. The research was conducted in three cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques include observation, cognitive tests, and descriptive analysis. The results show that implementing the TPS model enhances students' engagement in discussions, comprehension of Asmaul Husna concepts, and public speaking skills. Each cycle demonstrates an increase in students' confidence during presentations. The impact of this study is that the TPS model can serve as an innovative alternative for more interactive, collaborative, and practical Islamic Religious Education. The findings encourage teachers to adopt teaching methods that promote active participation and students' speaking skills.
