Qonun: Jurnal Hukum Islam dan Perundang-Undangan, scientific journal in the field of law, published by the Faculty of Sharia, Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University, Samarinda. This journal is dedicated as a medium for discussing law and Islamic law in responding to social dynamics and social changes both doctrinal and empirical research, with various academic approaches: normative-doctrinal, social, political, historical,  economic, etc. The subject is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the relevant topics.

Qonun: Jurnal Hukum Islam dan Perundang-Undangan, First published in 2020, Qonun is published three times a year, in April, August and December. In each edition, Qonun contains ten - fifteen articles resulting from legal research or studies. The editors invite legal scholars (academics, researchers, practitioners, and activists who care about social and legal issues) to submit their manuscripts.

Qonun: Jurnal Hukum Islam dan Perundang-Undangan, has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of The Republic of Indonesia (Decree Number: 152/E/KPT/2023) of the Republic of Indonesia as a national reputable academic journal in rank 2. The Indonesian Science and Technology Index (SINTA) could trace the rank record.
