About the Journal

Borneo Journal of Language and Education (BENJOLE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINSI) Samarinda, Indonesia.

Established in 2021, BENJOLE provides an academic platform for the dissemination of original research and scholarly contributions in language and education, with particular emphasis on Arabic and English language teaching, linguistics, literature, and language learning. The journal welcomes research that advances theoretical understanding, contributes to educational practice, and addresses contemporary developments in language education.

BENJOLE seeks to promote scholarly exchange among researchers, educators, lecturers, and practitioners at national and international levels. Through a rigorous peer-review process, the journal aims to support the quality, integrity, and relevance of published research and to contribute to the continuing development of knowledge in language and education.

The journal is published twice a year, with issues released in April and August. BENJOLE operates under an open-access publishing model, providing readers with immediate access to its published content in accordance with the journal's applicable copyright and licensing terms.
