Penerapan Metode Belajar Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam
Abstract
One of the challenges in teaching Islamic Education to Grade X students of Petroleum Engineering is the unmet learning objectives. This is due to the lack of variety in teaching methods, leading to student boredom and low engagement in lessons. Consequently, students are less motivated, resulting in learning outcomes that fail to meet the Minimum Competency Criteria (MCC) of 70. This CAR was conducted over two cycles, each comprising two meetings, involving 12 Grade X Petroleum Engineering students at SMK Negeri 1 Bunyu. Data collection methods included observation sheets, tests, and documentation, with qualitative and quantitative analyses. The results indicate that the use of the cooperative learning method, particularly the Jigsaw model, significantly improved student learning outcomes. The percentage of students achieving the MCC of 70 increased from 50.00% in Cycle I to 83.33% in Cycle II, reflecting a 33.33% improvement. This achievement surpasses the research target of 70%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Jigsaw model in enhancing learning outcomes.
