Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the learning process for the material education of Pancasila noble values ​​through the Mind Mapping method which can improve the learning achievement of fifth-grade students at MI Al Jihad Samboja Kutai Kartanegara. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out collaboratively between teachers and researchers, with the research subjects being 27 students of class V MI Al Jihad Samboja Kutai Kartanegara. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that the Mind Mapping method could improve student achievement in civic education subjects. This is indicated by an increase in student achievement. In the first cycle, the average class obtained was 60 with a percentage of 29.62%, while in the second cycle there was an increase, the average obtained was 79.62 with a percentage of 92.59%. Based on the results of these studies there has been an increase in each cycle.
