Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Asmaul Husna Dengan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of Asmaul Husna through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research was conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) at SD Negeri 005 Sangkulirang, involving 20 fourth-grade students. The study was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that implementing the PBL model significantly improved students' learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle phase, the average score of students was 70, with a learning mastery rate of 40%. After the intervention in cycle I, the average score increased to 82.25, with a mastery rate of 75%. Students' learning activities also improved, marked by active participation in discussions, the courage to ask questions, and better understanding of the Asmaul Husna concepts. The application of PBL positively impacted not only learning outcomes but also students' engagement in the learning process. This study recommends that teachers use the PBL model as an alternative approach, especially for subjects requiring deep comprehension, such as Asmaul Husna.
