Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with Borneo Journal of Language and Education (BENJOLE) agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Retention and License
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the work with appropriate credit to the authors and acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

  2. Non-Exclusive Distribution
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (for example, posting it to an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided that the initial publication in BENJOLE is acknowledged.

  3. Preprint and Online Posting
Authors are encouraged and permitted to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) prior to and during the submission process. This practice can foster productive scholarly exchanges and may lead to earlier and greater citation of the published work.
