Misconduct Policy

Dinamika Ilmu Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any form of research misconduct. The journal follows established ethical guidelines, including those recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics, to ensure integrity in scholarly publishing.

Identification of Misconduct

Research misconduct may be identified at any stage of the publication process, including submission, peer review, and post-publication. Allegations may arise from editors, reviewers, readers, or through the use of plagiarism detection software. Forms of misconduct include, but are not limited to, plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical authorship practices.

Initial Assessment

Upon receiving an allegation, the editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment to evaluate its credibility and severity. If the claim is found to have sufficient basis, the journal proceeds with further investigation.

Investigation Process

The journal will contact the corresponding author to request clarification and, where necessary, supporting data or documentation. If required, the journal may also communicate with the author’s affiliated institution or relevant authorities to ensure a thorough and fair investigation.

Decisions and Actions

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, appropriate actions will be taken, including but not limited to:

Rejection of the manuscript (for submissions under review)

Request for revision or correction (for minor issues)

Retraction or correction of published articles

Notification to the author’s institution or relevant bodies

Temporary or permanent restriction on future submissions

Post-Publication Measures

If misconduct is confirmed after publication, Dinamika Ilmu will issue a formal correction, expression of concern, or retraction notice, ensuring transparency and maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.
