Author Fees and Article Processing Charges (APCs)

1. Publication Fee Policy

The Borneo Journal of Language and Education (BENJOLE) applies a publication fee to accepted manuscripts. Manuscript submission is free of charge, and authors are not required to pay a submission fee.

The publication fee supports the journal's publishing and production activities. Payment does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or the acceptance of a manuscript.

2. Article Publication Fee

The publication fees are as follows:

• Indonesian Authors: IDR 500,000 per accepted article.
• International Authors: USD 30 per accepted article.

The publication fee is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Authors should follow the official payment instructions provided by the journal's editorial team.

3. Editorial Independence

All manuscripts are evaluated according to their academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, methodological rigor, and compliance with publication ethics.

The payment of publication fees does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions are made independently of authors' ability or willingness to pay publication fees.

4. Payment Information

Authors should obtain payment instructions directly from the journal's authorized editorial team. Payments should be made only through officially designated channels.
