BENJOLE provides immediate open access to its published content on the principle that making scholarly research freely available to the public supports the global exchange of knowledge, academic collaboration, and the advancement of research in language and education.

All published articles are accessible online without a subscription or payment for access. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and otherwise use the published content in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license and relevant legal requirements.

2. Immediate Open Access

BENJOLE provides immediate open access to articles upon publication. No subscription, registration fee, or payment is required to read or download published articles.

The journal supports broad access to scholarly knowledge for researchers, educators, students, institutions, and the general public, regardless of geographical location or institutional affiliation.

Published articles are made available through the journal's official website. Readers may access the journal's archives to consult previously published issues and articles.

3. Copyright and Licensing

Authors publishing in BENJOLE retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Articles published by BENJOLE are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), subject to the journal's published Copyright and Licensing Policy.

Under this license, users may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that they comply with the license terms.

Users must provide appropriate attribution to the original author or authors, acknowledge the source of publication in BENJOLE, provide a link to the applicable license, and indicate whether changes have been made. Users must not imply that the original authors or the journal endorse a particular reuse without appropriate authorization.

The license does not eliminate any rights or restrictions that may apply independently to third-party materials included in an article.

Further information is available on BENJOLE's Copyright and Licensing page.

4. Author Rights and Self-Archiving

BENJOLE permits authors to share and disseminate their scholarly work in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing terms.

Authors may deposit or share their work through institutional repositories, personal websites, academic networking platforms, or other appropriate channels, provided that the applicable license and any relevant third-party rights are respected.

Authors are encouraged to acknowledge the original publication in BENJOLE and, where available, provide the official article URL or DOI.

Authors may also use their published work in subsequent scholarly publications, teaching materials, academic presentations, or other lawful activities, subject to appropriate attribution and the applicable license terms.

5. Access to Research and Scholarly Reuse

BENJOLE encourages the responsible reuse and dissemination of published research to support teaching, learning, research, and academic collaboration.

Readers may cite, share, reproduce, and adapt published articles in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.

Users are expected to acknowledge the original authors and publication source accurately and to distinguish their own contributions from material derived from BENJOLE articles.

Open access does not authorize plagiarism, misrepresentation of authorship, misleading alteration of research findings, or other forms of academic misconduct.

6. Publication Fees and Reader Access

Open access to published articles is provided without subscription or access charges for readers.

Any submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or other publication-related fees applicable to authors are governed by BENJOLE's Author Fees and Article Processing Charges policy.

The availability of open access is distinct from the journal's policy on author fees. Any applicable charges, waivers, or other financial arrangements must be described transparently on the relevant policy page.

Payment of any publication-related fee does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or influence the independent editorial decision-making process.

7. Digital Preservation and Long-Term Accessibility

BENJOLE recognizes the importance of preserving published scholarly content and maintaining access to the academic record over time.

Published articles are made available through the journal's online platform and archives. The journal seeks to maintain the accessibility and integrity of its published content through appropriate digital preservation and archiving practices.

Information about the journal's specific archiving and digital preservation arrangements is provided in its Archiving Policy.

8. Editorial Independence and Open Access

BENJOLE's open-access model is intended to facilitate the dissemination of scholarly knowledge without compromising the quality or integrity of the editorial process.

Manuscripts remain subject to the journal's editorial assessment, peer-review procedures, publication ethics requirements, and applicable editorial policies.

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance, methodological quality, and ethical compliance. Open access and any applicable publication fees do not replace or influence these standards.
